Phil pejovich

With over 25+ Years of Global P&L Experience with Blue Chip Firms Pentair, Whirlpool and TRW,  Phil has developed a broad set of market experiences covering Flow, Industrial Automation, Electrical,  Consumer Durables, and AeroSpace/Defense, successfully growing as well as restructuring businesses.

Phil started PejGroup in 2015, a vehicle for directing family investments as well as providing Industrial Advising/Operating Partner/Board Member Services. His client base has included numerous Large Cap Private Equity Firms, Private Offices, as well as Lower Middle Market Private Equity.

 In 2018, Phil formed Flow Control Management, LLC (FCM) with The Edgewater Funds. FCM is a company that continually buys and builds market leading flow component manufacturers. The first company within FCM, Flow Control Holdings, served the Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical markets. This company was sold in 2022 to Audax Private Equity, providing investors with top decile returns in 3.5 years. Currently FCM has investments in precision agriculture and is actively negotiating assets within other desirable end markets. 

In addition to actively overseeing investments, Dr Pejovich is currently serving as Board Chair for Stihl, Inc, (premier provider of outdoor power equipment), as well as Board Member for Flow Control Holdings, LLC and RobRoy Industries. All companies are privately held.

Dr Pejovich is passionate about STEM and bringing "real life experiences into the classroom". As an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota, Dr Pejovich has taught growth aspects (Innovation, New Product Development) as well as operational aspects (Supply Chain, Project Management) of business to future business leaders.

Phil has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, Masters from University of Texas at Arlington, and BSEE from Texas A&M University.

He is blessed with an amazing wife, proud of his three sons who have grown into fine young men, and is challenged by his three dogs that remind him parenting is never over.
